Founded in 2005, Peaks n Sands was born from a simple yet powerful belief — that the greatest learning, growth, and transformation happen when people reconnect with nature and experience the world beyond their comfort zones.
At the heart of Peaks n Sands is Mahesh Chandra, an avid traveller, adventurer, photographer, and experiential learning enthusiast whose life journey shaped the philosophy of the company.
Born to a soldier of the Indian Air Force, Mahesh travelled across the length and breadth of India from an early age. Growing up amidst changing landscapes, cultures, mountains, forests, rivers, and communities nurtured in him a lifelong love for travel, nature, and discovery.
Over the years, this passion evolved into a deeper understanding of people, places, and experiences. Photography became a way to observe the world more closely, adventure became a way of learning, and travel became a means of transformation.

This philosophy became the foundation upon which Peaks ‘n’ Sands was created.
